TubeMeta is a YouTube companion tool that allows users to extract publicly available metadata from YouTube videos and channels, including tags, titles, thumbnails, descriptions, channel logos, and channel information. The App also displays trending YouTube videos.

The App collects the following information that you voluntarily provide:

YouTube URLs: Video and channel URLs you paste into the App to extract metadata. These URLs are used solely to fetch publicly available information from YouTube and are not stored on any remote server
Clipboard Data: When you choose to paste a link, the App reads your clipboard content to populate the URL input field. This data is used only within the App and is not transmitted or stored externally

When you use the App, we may automatically collect certain information, including:

Device Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers

4.2 No Remote Data Storage

We do NOT operate any servers that store your personal data. The App does not maintain user accounts, databases, or any form of persistent remote storage for user information. All interactions with YouTube data are transient and occur in real-time.

4.3 Security Measures

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. API communications are conducted over secure HTTPS connections. However, please note that no method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

TubeMeta retrieves publicly available metadata from YouTube videos and channels through YouTube's services. By using the App, you are also subject to Google's Privacy Policy. The App only accesses publicly available data and does not access your private YouTube account information.

5.2 Google AdMob

Crash Data: Crash reports collected by Firebase Crashlytics are retained according to Firebase's data retention policies (typically 90 days).

10. Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights regarding your information:

No Account Required: The App does not require any user account, so there is no personal data stored that needs to be managed
Opt-Out of Notifications: You can disable push notifications in your device settings
Opt-Out of Personalized Ads: You can opt out of personalized advertising in your device settings
